The Cosmic Right to Choose
Self-Determination at the Threshold of Contact
In my professional background in social work, there is a foundational principle that guides our approach to human dignity: self-determination.
It is the fundamental right of an individual to determine their own life, make their own choices, and shape their own future.
As I have deepened my practice with Steps to Knowledge and looked out at the rapid acceleration of UAP and Non-Human Intelligence (NHI) disclosures, I have come to a realization:
Self-determination is no longer just a terrestrial principle. It is our greatest evolutionary challenge as we emerge into a larger universe of intelligent life.
Humanity is currently standing at a monumental threshold. We are exiting our long history of isolation and entering a "Greater Community" of intelligent life. If we want to navigate this transition successfully and shape human destiny, we must change our evaluation of the concept of self-determination from a solely human right to a universal spiritual imperative.
The Vulnerability of a Divided Race
In the universe at large, advanced technology does not automatically equal spiritual wisdom. It also appears that the arena we are entering is highly competitive.
What if the forces active in our world today operate primarily in the Mental Environment—quietly influencing human thought, capitalizing on our conflicts, and offering solutions to our planetary crises in exchange for compliance?
As our global crises worsen, people are understandably losing faith in human institutions, leaders, and governments. However, this widespread disillusionment creates a profound vulnerability. In our collapse of trust, we are highly susceptible to looking outside our world—turning toward non-human saviors for solutions.
But true self-determination is our ability to determine our own lives and future. This is where our true strength begins, and where we reclaim our sovereignty in a larger universe.
Shifting from External Noise to Inner Authority
How do we maintain our self-determination when facing intelligences vastly more sophisticated than our own? We cannot do it through military technology or intellectual cleverness.
We can only do it by reclaiming our inner authority.
Through the practice of Steps to Knowledge, I have learned that beneath my anxious, analytical thoughts lies a deeper mind called Knowledge, or the higher self, gnosis, or consciousness. This deeper part of people cannot be deceived, manipulated, or influenced by external forces. It is the source of our true strength.
When we practice inner stillness, we are not just relaxing; we are drawing a boundary in the mental environment. We are declaring our spiritual independence. We are training our minds to listen to the quiet compass of spirit rather than the loud, chaotic narratives of a world in crisis.
The Work Ahead
Human self-determination in a larger universe begins with the individual. Every time we choose stillness over media noise, every time we trust that quiet inner “Stop. Wait.” over a flashing headline, we are contributing to the sovereignty of the human race.
We are people entering an extraordinary set of circumstances. Can we claim our native ability to determine our own lives, cultivate our internal boundaries, and responsibly prepare for the times ahead?
